Greek America Interview

Last night, conducted my primary interview with a writer from Greek America magazine, which will do a profile of the books in their Nov./Dec. issue, to be published around the end of November.

Introduction

Follow Your Fates is a series of books published by Bolchazy-Carducci Publishers, Inc. (Mundelein, IL; http://www.bolchazy.com) that introduce the ancient world to readers, ages 8 and up, through interactive fiction. Interactive fiction places the reader in the shoes of the main character; the books are written in the 2nd person (you as the subject) and presents the reader periodic choices. The reader makes a choice and turns to the specified page. If the choice is the correct one, the narrative continues. If the choice is the incorrect one, the narrative ends, and you must choose again. The narrative follows the narrative of the text on which each book is based. The Wrath of Achilles, based on Homer's Iliad, was published in June. The Journey of Odysseus, based on Homer's Odyssey, was published in August. The Exile of Aeneas, based on Vergil's Aeneid, should be published in December.
